So you are saying you have a destination URL (say www.foobar.com) and
you want to append on tracking parameters from multiple sources (i.e.
Google Analytics and Coremetrics), there are a few things you can do:

- you can place both into the destination URL (say
www.foobar.com/?cm_mmc=test123&utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term=searchterm&utm_content=content&utm_campaign=my%2Bcampaign)
but then you run the risk of having too long of a destination URL.
- you can create logic that maps the code to both and only using one
query string parameter in the destination URL to key off of. Google
analytics lets you map your already defined tracking parameters to
their predefined ones.
- Just leverage one of the tools since both are going report numbers differently

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

Hi Dorian,

what would be your recommendation in terms of multiple Tracking tools (CoreMetrics / Google Analytics) on the same website.

My concern is relating to the different tracking Arguments for external Marketing campaign. How would both co-exist in one Destination URL?

Thanks for your help!
And btw, very nice blog

This plugin is fine as long as you aren't using multiple domains.

Dorian,

Is what you are talking about only based on "onclick" because you still do not know if you subscribed? When people click on the RSS icon, most likly they are taken to an external page, in that case you can't grab the values. Any ideas?

One thing to keep in mind is that IP Exclusion in the admin panel can currently only be done on an account-level basis. If you wish to only exclude traffic from Production suites (and not test suites) you must set up a custom IP filtering VISTA rule.

Not bad! I think I'd like to extrapolate and build out a generalized solution based on your work to be compatible with Webtrends and Google as well.

If I can just find the time...

Your point about saving the file locally for later use with click map is functional and does indeed work.
