Offline Tracking via Convertro

Continuing in the Convertro series of blog postings, I wanted to touch on the analytics package ability to track offline activity.  One big ask that many clients have inquired about is measuring the success offline marketing events to online conversions.To add this tracking, all that is needed is one simple line of code.  You have two options:<span id=”cvocode”></span>OR<div id=”cvocode”></div>The Phone ID is collected at the conversion step (i.e. registration, sale/order, sign up, etc), and when the ID is passed along to Convertro, it is used to associate the passed marketing event to that specific conversion event.  These codes can easily be supplied to Conventro via two methods.The first is via the Convertro capture widget. This widget allows for both real time code verification as well as code entry. The second leverages FTP to pass a comma separated value file (CSV) to Convertro’s servers.
